He just talked about his new projects, and Laisa talked about how surprised she is, because he's finally speaking "normal", because he usually has to change his natural-born Argentinean accent into a Meso-American accent to play his roles on Telemundo. Then Michel was flirting with her amd caressing her face and her knee and he said "What great legs you have!"and she said "vos tocame vos tocame todo...", which is "touch me, touch me all you want", haha. Then they had a love scene, and Michel would not let her go! He was so captivated by their love, so she poured water on his face. Then she gave him a thong to wear, with a zipper in the front for his woo-hoo. Then before she made that mysterious exit that all women make, Michel said "Don't forget to give me your phone number." And then she said, "Hasta luego."
On the Spot Spanish Lesson:
In Argentina, the "y" and "ll" is pronounced with a "sh" sound. So instead of "Yo soy filipino" (I'm Filipino), it sounds like "Sho soy filipino." Instead of "Ella es filipina" (Ey-ya es filipina), you say "E-sha es filipina". Also, instead of addressing another person as "tu", you say "vos". So instead of "Tu eres filipino" (You are Filipino), in Argentina, you say "Vos eres filipino". This rule applies to Colombia, some parts of Venezuela, and Chile as well.
One thing I also notice among Filipinos is that they pronounce the "l" in the "ll" like "calle" (street) is pronounced "cal-ye" by Filipinos, and while that is Spanish of the 16th century, that type of pronounciation is ANTIQUE already, as in nobody says the "l" in the "ll" anymore, even in Spain. You're supposed to pronounce "calle" (street) like "cay-ye" without the "l" sound.
Also one thing I notice most Filipinos get incorrect is that they uppercase nationalities in Spanish assuming it's the same in English, like "Yo soy Filipino", and that's incorrect. In Spanish, nationalities are always lowercase, the correct way to write that is "Yo soy filipino", just like "Yo soy argentino".
Also I notice that Filipinos tend to make a "sh" sound whenever a -cion word is used, like "concepcion" is often pronounced by Filipinos as "con-cep-SHon", and that's INCORRECT in Spanish. The "ci" should be pronounced as an "s" as in "sili", "con-cep-s-ion" NOT "SHON". |
